Hello! I’m Oscar.

I run Show Works Ltd, a company supporting the technical side of live events. I also created and present on Backstage Radio, a station for the people who work behind the scenes in theatre, events, and production.

I’m fascinated by how things work – especially where technology meets real-world logistics. A lot of my time is spent building and speccing technical projects for events such as large immersive installations.
Along side these projects, I enjoy working with broadcast tech, writing software, renewable energy or finding ways to make complicated operations simpler.

Most of my ideas start as “this would be useful…” and almost always turn into slightly over-engineered side projects.

Alongside my work I also have a big passion for music (of course!) with a focus on modern country music. I also enjoy DIY and fish keeping 🐠.
